Just finished installing the AC Jack, also had to go over some connections on the MB to get it up to shape. Runs like a champ! The problem with this motherboard is the AC jack location and it causes problems after some wear and tear on the laptop. The symptoms are: video goes off but seems like laptop is still running, when testing with external monitor, same thing so this is not an LCD problem. But problem fixed, no more shutting down! Some call this a common Toshiba Shutdown Problem where the computer shuts down after you touch it.
If you have this problem with your Toshiba laptop, let me know, I can usually fix it if not them replace the motherboard. I charge $150 for laptop service.
